Ashlee is a Health Psychologist with a particular interest in supporting people to make sustainable changes to their health and wellbeing. She has over 10 years’ experience running psychology practices and supervising trainee psychologists. She works with adults experiencing a range of psychological and health-related difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, stress, and the impact of long-term health conditions. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns that feel difficult to change on their own. Her work includes supporting people with anxiety, low mood, emotional eating and weight-related difficulties, addictions such as vaping and smoking, and the emotional impact of living with long-term conditions such as chronic pain and fatigue. She also supports individuals navigating perimenopause and other hormonal changes, particularly where these affect mood, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
Ashlee’s work is grounded in understanding each person within the context of their life. She works collaboratively with clients to develop a personalised plan for change. Her approach focuses on helping people understand the patterns that keep difficulties going, and identifying practical, realistic ways to shift them. Depending on the individual, this may include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, and behaviour change strategies such as Motivational Interviewing. She also takes a trauma-informed approach, recognising the role that past experiences can play in shaping current patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaviour. Ashlee brings a calm, supportive, and straightforward style to her work. Her aim is to create a space where clients feel understood, while also helping them make meaningful progress.
