Molly is an experienced Clinical Psychologist with a background in both adult and child mental health services. She currently works as a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist within a children’s inpatient psychiatric hospital, where she supports young people facing complex and long-standing mental health challenges, alongside their families.
Molly has a strong interest in trauma-informed approaches to psychological distress. She is dedicated to understanding each individual’s difficulties within the context of their life experiences, using a compassionate and holistic framework to support healing and growth.
In her private practice, Molly is passionate about working with individuals across the lifespan who are experiencing low mood, anxiety, relational difficulties, low self-esteem, or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Her approach is informed by a range of evidence-based therapeutic models tailored to the needs of each client, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP).
Central to Molly’s approach is the creation by of a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental therapeutic space. She works collaboratively with her clients to help gain a deeper understanding of their difficulties and move towards meaningful and achievable personal goals.
